Viewpoints has built a world class e-mail dash board capability that enables community members to control the type and frequency of e-mail they receive.  This e-mail capability leverage the leading Exact Target e-mail engine.  Community members can request alerts (real time, daily, weekly or monthly) when new comments on posted on their reviews, new friends connect with them, when their friends write new reviews, when new content is posted in a category and a variety of other social alerts.

The JanRain RPX solution enables a  Viewpoints Technology Platform powered community site to easily register and login with an existing account from AOL, Facebook, Google, MySpace, Twitter, Windows Live, or Yahoo! and instantly begin sharing their insights, experiences and product reviews.  See screen shot below.
